The Program 5 Tango came with mine resistant seats installed inside the well deck. Eventually most of the seats were removed at the request of the Army because of complains from the Infantryman that the seats were in the way when they tried to exit the boat. Here I have lined up the resin parts in groups to expedite assembly.
Each chair had four wire mesh legs that would collapse if the boat hit a mine.
Two chairs were installed on top of a collapsible platform.
The boats came with 40 seats installed but I decided to only install 32 of them.
As you can see the seats took up plenty of room in the well deck.
The seats came as far forward as shown here.
The seats reached back all the way to this point.
