The first step in assembling the hull is to add the rest of the upper deck. It is not necessary to glue this part yet just ensure it fits correctly.
Some minor sanding may be necessary, and after the deckhouse is added you can glue this part down and add putty around the edges if needed.
Next I added all the details on the stern like these rope tie-downs.
Next I added the lifting hooks on the rear deck.
Correct positioning of the lifting hooks on the stern.
Correct position of the forward port and starboard lifting hooks.
Only four brass vent covers are required for the Tango boat.
To make them rounded on the top bend them around a paint brush.
Then I glued them into position with super glue.
Two small vents are located here.
Next I added some details on the bow.
I finished the hull by adding the individual bar armor pieces and horizontal bumpers. These bumpers were only installed on the port side of the boat.
Notice the first bar armor section ont he hull is cut a little shorter than the others. The last step when putting the hull together is to add the vertical bumpers on top of the port and starboard armor.
