Step 7: Mark 48

Parts required to assemble the Mark 48 gun turret.

Correct location of the bar armor supports.

Pull a piece of styrene rod between your thumb and forefinger to make it rounded. This allows easier gluing of the bar armor to the support.

I added thin styrene strips to otter edge of the armor supports, in order to use plastic cement to position the rounded bar armor rods.

Notice the position of the styrene rod lifting hooks on the side of the Mark 48 turret.

The turret rotates freely.

A small handle was added to the Mark 48 hatch fashioned form styrene strip.

The styrene bar armor give quite a nice impression.

Correct positioning of items below the Mark 48 gun port.
