I recently acquired these matched 6V53 Detroit Diesel Marine Engines from a crew boat in Texas, which be placed inside PBR 7334 once the paint job is complete.

Recently I acquired the engine mounts from a friend restoring a PBR out West. These were made by the Vibration Eliminator Co.

Four vibration mounts were needed per engine. The mounts bolt to an aluminum angle that sits on top of the stringers.

I added PVC sheet reproduction armor plate over the engine compartment amidships.

I added the hatches and replaced the armor plate over the engine compartment.

It looks pretty realistic!
