UDT/NAVY SEAL Flotation Life Vest. Ultra-rare Flotation Life Vest used by US Navy SEAL and UDT teams in Vietnam. The vest
inflates by Co2 or an oral inflation tube to keep the users head above water when wearing a heavy combat load in emergency
conditions. This vest is dated Nov 1971, mint condition, and comes with a spare Co2 firing actuator (one is attached to the
vest, the other is separate wrapped in a yellow, waterproof cloth). This vest is NOT a repro item or post-war and was actually
found in Vietnam! Vest shows absolutely no sign of wear or tear inside or out. Serial number 500149 I have tested this vest
which inflates, and holds air perfectly. Box is marked "Life Preserver, Yoke, 1 EA. DSA700-71-C-8939, MFD. 11/71, Serial No.
500151". This vest is extremely rare, very hard to find.

US NAVY EXPERIMENTAL SEAL FLOATCOAT. Tag reads Experimental Garment Property of US Navy Clothing & Textile Research Unit
Natick, Mass. Size Med-short No. Grenadier, Contract No. W00298-70-C 0406. This coat is named to Don Barnes, who served with
Victor Platoon 1970 -1971. This garment is in very good, used condition. There is a tear that was period repaired with
zig-zag
sewing, and a khaki patch on the inside. This jacket was modified by removing some of the ammo pockets as was typical at the
time. Don was a radioman, and probably removed some of the pockets that weren't needed, or in the way.
